I'm a freelance Artist/Illustrator, currently based in Rutland, UK. I have an MA in Authorial Illustration from Falmouth College of Arts, and have exhibited around the country.
The inspiration for much of my work comes from traditional fairy tales and legends, while the imagery is heavily influenced by the countryside around me. I am particularly interested in the shape and form of silhouettes created by natural features in the landscape, such as a tree skeleton or clouds on the horizon, and the pattern of negative and positive spaces these forms create.
